What Is Ayurvedic Yoga Massage
Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a powerful form of bodywork combining deep tissue
massage, synchronized breathing, and assisted yoga stretching.
Ayurvedic Yoga Massage originated in Pune, India, and was pioneered by Kusum Modak. Also inspiration from Rikta Prem, Swami Subudda is in the technique i share. This technique was taught to me by Subbuddha and Sangeeta in 2000 in India. The technique is grounded in traditional Ayurvedic principles, massage and with assisted stretching. The focus of the work is to guide the body of the receiver to a state of balance through the release of tension on all levels: from the dissolution of surface aches and pains to the realignment of deep postural and skeletal imbalances.
Our contemporary lifestyles often lead to postural and mental patterns that inhibit the flow of energy in the body. The stagnation of this energy is the root cause of many of our aches, pains and ailments. Through deep tissue massage, stretching, and synchronized breathing, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage removes the postural, emotional and mental blockages that disrupt the circulation of energy through the body. Once the
physical body is in harmony, the vital energy flows and a calm, focused state of mind
is reached.
